With this app parents and children can join forces in creating a list of ways to earn pocket money or a weekly allowance and keep track of their progress. The app provides the user a simple way to record the completion of jobs including the ability to send a payment notice to the parent(s) detailing all of the completed jobs. The app also includes a money manager that tracks all income and expenditure.
One of the most valuable skills you can pass onto your children is good money management. Learning the value of money, budgeting and how to save is a fundamental financial and life skill that will serve them through to adulthood.
Some of the app features include:
*The ability to set up daily, weekly or ad-hoc jobs.
*Once entered jobs roll forward from week to week unless set up as a “one off” task.
*The ability to assign money to each task performed or a weekly allowance.
*Easy to use main screen where the user can simply tick the completion of their job under the relevant day of the week.
*The user will see the value of their money grow at the bottom of the main screen with every job done.
*The user can email a payment notice to their parent(s) detailing all of their completed jobs with the total amount owing.
*If a job requires photo evidence (eg car wash) the user can take a photo to send with the payment notice.
*Once the parent(s) have paid the user can select the relevant week and mark it off as paid.
*Any payments will flow through to the money manager as income.
*Within the money manager the user can record expense items to see where they spend their earnings.
*A report can also be generated from the money manager detailing all income and expenditure.
*There are four themes the user can select from to change the look of their app.
